Services Provided
I provide counseling (in-person and telehealth) for individuals, families, and couples. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am trained in mental health counseling in addition to systemic theory, the idea that relationships affect the well-being directly and indirectly. I assist in developing healthy ways to regulate emotions, interact with others, and modify negative thoughts.
My theoretical orientation mainly combines Rogerian (client strength-centered), Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-focused, Bowenian, and Emotionally-Focused techniques.
Experience
I’ve treated children, teens, and adults affected by stressful adjustments, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, ADHD, low self-esteem, family conflicts, and more.
Prior to opening my private practice here in FL, I worked in California at Community Access Network, providing counseling in-office as well as TBS coaching (therapeutic behavioral services) on-site (home/school). Prior to that, I completed my practicum at Frances Smith Center for Individual and Family Therapy. In addition, I worked as direct care staff at South Coast Children’s Society, a residential treatment center for disadvantaged youth.
